Olympus CX41 for routine applications.
Key Features:
Large variety of applications
Asbestos Fibre Counting
Adaptable for GOUT inspection
Enhanced image clarity
Outstanding flat images
Cost-efficient
Accepts a wide range of digital cameras
The Olympus CX41 provides images of outstanding brightness and clarity in a variety of observation modes. As well as Olympus' renowned UIS2 infinity optics system it employs the PLCN series of Plan Achromat objectives, which are made from carefully selected top quality glass and are manufactured with the most rigorous precision. The result is a major improvement image flatness, with the 10x and 40x objectives in particular providing images that are among the very best available in this class of microscope. Transmitted light illumination is from a 6v 30W halogen light source. Applications include brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, polarised light and fluorescence. Digital cameras can also be attached with the correct adapters.
Plan objectives for image clarity
The Olympus UIS2 plan corrected objectives ensure the observation of bright, clear images with excellent flatness.
Ergonomic
The optional tilting binocular tube reducing neck strain, and low positioning of stage handle, focus knob, and frontal light control make long term use comfortable.
Cost effective fluorescence
Fluorescence labelling methods find more and more their way in routine observations. Olympus offers a 50 Watt Mercury reflected light illumination system suitable for simple fluorescence observations.
In addition transmitted light FluoLED fluorescence illuminators are designed to fit to the Olympus CX microscopes making them ideal for routine as well as educational purposes. The LEDs can be powered by battery or even solar power ensuring that fluorescence microscopy can be conducted ‘in field’ where samples are fresh. The FluoLED system is available in three versions, to provide transmitted fluorescence, without removing the ability to perform normal brightfield illumination: The FluoLED EasyBlue (480 nm) provides a single wavelength of fixed intensity for the most cost efficient solution. The FluoLED Single provides users with the capability to use one of seven interchangeable LED cassettes from 365 nm (UV) to 630 nm (Red) and control the intensity of the light. The FluoLED MultiFluo enables up to three of the interchangeable LED cassettes to be installed and controlled on the microscope at once via a three channel electronic driver.
Ideal for different observation methods
Either simple polarisation, phase contrast or darkfield, the universal objectives accommodate all observation methods without need to change the objective type each time the method is changed.
Documentation and analysis
Olympus digital cameras, optimised for various applications, can be adapted via the optional available trinocular tube. The cameras can be combined with software packages ranging from easy archiving up to thorough analysis and reporting of data.
