When attaching these cameras to a microscope it is desirable to capture the maximum amount of visual field in the camera. This is achieved by using a microscope C-mount connector 0.5x. Each camera comes with a 0.5x C-mount adapter, with tube adapter to enable the adapter to fit eyepiece tubes 23mm, 30mm & 30.5mm diameter. Alternatively the camera can be fitted to the microscope with the manufacturers C-mount adapters. Software All Microtec cameras come with camera control, capture and basic analysis software as standard. A range of measurements can be made including length, area, angles and item counting. Annotation is also available. A stage micrometer for calibration is included with each camera. Selecting the camera – The resolution of the camera required depends on the size and quality required of the images. The following table gives a guide to the maximum size of images that can be obtained with these cameras.
